Some
MBA tuition fee regarding recommendations has been submitted by the National
Level Fee Fixation Committee headed by B N SriKrishna to Ministry of Human
Resource Development about to diminish the MBA and related to the professional
course tuition fee charged by the private college or universities. But the
committee has abstained any fee reduction in IIM’s tuition fees.
India’s
private colleges and the Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) has
already issued a circular letter EPSI/CIR-246/PGDM-51/2015 dated
November 19, 2015 among its members society just for asking them about
their views and suggestions in this tuition fee curtailing matter.
Supreme
Court of India not ready to allow the exploitation of technical education in
the country. Just to address this matter, AICTE had set up the Justice
Srikrishna committee about to inform the issue of high tuition fee in
management private institutions.
Till
to take a hard decision regarding this matter, the panel has recommended
ceiling on proposed tuition fees for the following courses such as Engineering,
pharmacy, Architecture, computer application and MBA/PGDM courses in private institutes
in India. The panel has also dictated the names of cities where these Private
business institutes are located in Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. But there
is a discussion about the upper ceiling of tuition fee, then it is proposed to
be fixed according to the city location.
Panel classified the cities based upon important factors, i.e
population, especially in the big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore,
Hyderabad etc. Therefore, these cities are classified as Tier-1 cities.
