You will soon be out of school and are looking forward to college life and especially for a better admission guidance. There are many colleges in India and the word college brings many thoughts to mind. While for some it is about reaching the corridors of the top engineering colleges, or top medical colleges on the other hand there are many who are not sure about what course to do and which college to join. So while one is reading oneself for life after 12th, but the dilemma about which college to choose and which course to choose from the wide array of courses after 12th only increases.  Career guidance after 12th is extremely help full here and you can take help of experts. Here I am sharing my experiences and few tips to get out of this career dilemma.

Career Course after 12th

I have gone through the same phase which you guys are facing now. I was commerce student but I took admission in Computers because my interest was into developing codes and new technology. So, you can opt any stream in which you are interested or you can choose a higher education which can shape your career. So after five years if you will look at yourself, then you can say “yeah I am the champ of this subject”. Now the question is how to choose college or university. Does it really matter?

Yes, if you are graduate from top five colleges or universities then your chances of getting placed is very high. But if you have scored low then chances are less to get admit in reputed colleges, but it doesn’t mean that you will not get good job. You have so many options to choose below are they:

1. You can appear in the entrance exams

Depending on the stream you can sit for an entrance exams after 12th. Most of the reputed colleges take admission through entrance exams. This is the trend not only for courses like engineering, medicine, law, design etc. Many universities use entrance tests due to number of applicants. 

2. Choose a professional course
There are many professional courses you can opt after 12th and most of the times admissions done through entrance-exams. Other than engineering, medicine there are many professional courses like Law, Management, Design, Mass communication and Journalism etc.

3. Choose a vocational course
Vocational courses like Travel and Tourism and Office administration also offer good choice.

So, you can do three different things to decide about what to do after12th. There are many students who think that what to do after 12th. You see as per a recent study, almost 80% or more people at workstations feel stressed because they are career misfits. This problem is occur because of the wrong choices they make after 12th.
