Recently, Graphic Era University signed a joint collaboration with the Hochschule Fulda - University of Applied Sciences, Germany in the field of academics and research.
On 19th and 20th Dec, 2015 (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala and Prof (Dr) Karim Khakzar, President Fulda -University of Applied Sciences Germany discuss on all possibilities of joint curriculum development, student and faculty exchange, collaborative research and international projects, summer courses, project based internships and conduct of lectures, workshops and seminars in all academic area of mutual interest and finally agreed for collaboration in the fields of academics and research.
Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala President said that,”There are so many expectations from this joint collaboration and hope this collaboration gives a new height to the academics and research activities at Graphic Era University.” Apart from this, this is also so much beneficial to students, faculty and researchers.

1) Leadership summit and award ceremony at Oxford City on 18th Dec 2015:
For this leadership summit and award ceremony, there is a big thanks to all students and alumni's for contributing by outstanding achievements in all spheres of life, This has led to university being awarded at Oxford City, United Kingdom.
2) The Graphic Era University awarded best regional university on 17th Dec 2015
Good news! The Graphic Era University awarded Best Regional University by Europe Business Assembly Oxford City, United Kingdom in the prestigious International Summit of Leaders held at Oxford Town Hall, Oxford City UK.
On the other side, the Prof (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala, the President Graphic Era University was awarded the prestigious Best Manager of the Year in Science and Education Sphere 2015 by Prof John Netting, Director General EBA.
This splendid summit was attended by organizations like Universities, education institutions, business houses including banking, medicine, oil and gas sector, market research organizations and other social organizations from 40 different countries across the globe. But, from India, there was only Graphic Era University, which has been awarded as the best regional university in the field of education and science.
Europe Business Assembly awarded this prestigious best regional university award to Graphic Era University for its quality of education, research and innovative practices, consultancy and industry projects, teaching and learning infrastructure, student support system, outstanding placements and other achievements.
Somehow, here we also discuss the award nomination and selection process which was based on complex and difficult survey done by EBA and recommendations of EBA partners based upon excellence in technical and professional education, research and student support mechanism. Here, EBA partners included the European Market Research Centre Belgium, Baden- Vurtennberg Export Academy, Germany, the Association of Consultants and Marketologists Czech Republic, Institute of Quality Standards Switzerland and Oxford Academic Society United Kingdom.
This process also included the active role of important information from national and international certification bodies, regional and national associations, academic congresses, forums, exhibitions, industry and media.
3) (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala President Graphic Era University, visited Birmingham City University on 15th Dec, 2015
Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala, President Graphic Era University has been visited Birmingham City University and held discussions with higher officials of the University in academic collaboration, curriculum development, faculty and student programmes and inclusion of the latest technologies for research.
4) Graphic Era ranked 1st in North India & 3rd among 38 Deemed universities in all over India:
Before some time, Graphic Era University is getting placed 1st in North India & 3rd among 38 deemed universities across India assessed by NAAC in 2015. Actually, this nomination has been a big achievement for Graphic Era University. Therefore, Dr (Prof) Kamal Ghanshala, the President of Graphic Era University delivered a brilliant presentation to the Europe Business Assembly, Oxford City, UK on 15th Dec 2015 in which he reflected the Graphic Era University's quality of education, research and innovative practices, consultancy and industry projects, teaching and learning infrastructure, student support system, outstanding placements and other achievements altogether have contributed towards this nomination.
There are also other top well ranked and reputed universities of Europe, which have invited Dr (Prof) Kamal Ghanshala for some superior discussion on academic collaboration, curriculum development, faculty and student programmes and inclusion of the latest technologies for research. For this, Prof would also meet higher Officials of Birmingham City University on 14 Dec 2015 and President of Fulda University of Applied Sciences, Germany on 16 Dec 2015. During this meeting, the Fulda University, Germany has offered for student and teacher exchange programmes in engineering and management.
At last but not least Graphic Era University always think a lot in the favor of students' development, growth and success. That’s why GEU conducted a two day Workshop and demonstration on "Design and development of lighter than air systems and Principles of flight using chuck gliders" on 7th and 8th of December 2015. This Workshop was led by the renowned Rajkumar S. Pant, Professor- Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT -Bombay. Therefore, GEU’s engineering students have attended this workshop on day 1 and then neighboring school students on day 2.
This workshop programme was organized in collaboration with USAC (Uttarakhand Space Application Centre) / USERC (Uttarakhand Science Education & Research Centre) at Graphic Era Hill University campus, Dehradun.
Apart from this, Graphic Era University has received a elegant appreciation letter from the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat in the favor of Graphic Era University that it becomes first private university in the state to get "A" Grade from NAAC. Graphic Era was ranked 3rd in India and 1st in North India in assessment of deemed universities. The Chief Minister has also praised the effort of Graphic Era University’s chairman KAMAL GHANSHALA in bringing quality technical education in between the hills.

The Graphic Era University has a good training and placement in multinational organizations like Wipro, Congizant, Tata Consultancy Services, Contus, Appstudioz, Aon Hewitt and HCL Technologies. GEU have more than 2000 placements were recorded in academic session 2012-2015. GEU always think in the favor of students and works towards the fulfillment of the student’s aspirations of attaining the best professional career.
Recently Arvind Mishra, a faculty of this institution claimed the longest marathon lecture award, which was hosted by Guinness world records.
Apart from this, Graphic Era University also has an Automobile Club, Software Club, Speaker's Club, Eco Club, Dance Club, Photography Club and Quiz Club. On the other side, GEU also run an active NCC wing as well as an NSS wing, which indulges in various cultural, intellectual, environmental, social and national events and activities.
